Know the difference
Know the difference between “this is extremely hard” and “I can’t do this.”
There’s nothing wrong with something being extremely hard. We are going to push to that point from time to time. Just because it’s extremely hard doesn’t mean it cannot be done.
Unfortunately, our default thought is “I can’t do this” when a lift feels challenging, rather than only “this is extremely hard.”
When attempting something difficult, train yourself to (at worst) think “this is extremely hard” because we can do things that are extremely hard.
It’s only extremely hard, not impossible. There is a difference.
